Description

In 1607, Jamestown settlers planted the cross of St. George, and the English colonial period in America began. When the Continental Army planted the Stars and Stripes at Yorktown 174 years later, they symbolically marked the end of that period. Today, these flags, joined by a ribbon representing the Colonial Parkway, serve as a reminder of the roots of America that were planted at Jamestown and Yorktown, and are preserved at Colonial National Historical Park.

This enameled pin measures ⅞” x ⅝” and features the Colonial National Historical Park logo.
